Interested in volunteering at Pop Art Photo Show? Volunteering is an ideal way to see the show from a different perspective, meet new people and gain experience in event production!
We are looking for trustworthy, hard working, reliable, responsible, professional volunteers for an Art and Technology event in Santa Monica. There will be a variety of shifts on September 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 2018 and October 1, 2018, including:
Before the Event:
We need volunteers in the weeks leading up to the event. There are lots of ways for people of all abilities and interests to help us get ready for the show.
Physical Event Set-Up:
During physical show set-up including an assortment of tasks as directed (Tuesday, Sept. 25th, Wed., and Sept. 26th /9:30am-5pm Thursday, Sept. 27th /9:30am-2pm);
At the Event
VIP Reception: Opening night Premiere Party, Thursday night September 27 (5:30pm-10:30pm)
During regular show hours including all tasks as directed (Fri., Sept 28, Sat., Sept. 29 10:30am-10:30pm; Sun., Sept. 30, 10:30am-5:30pm)
After the Event:
Qualifications: Adults, must be 18 years or older; energetic, attentive with professional appearance, punctual with friendly demeanor. Interest in art and / or trade show experience is a plus.
Volunteers must show up on time, be friendly and flexible, have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable interacting with the public. Free parking will be provided.
Volunteers will be assigned to a shift, tasks and will be given a break or change of duties when possible, every 3 hours. Event volunteers may sign up for as many shifts as they would like. If you are not sure what you want to do, sign up to be a general volunteer and we’ll place you in the spot that best suits you!
